Class size: Min 3, Max 4

Length: 30 minutes

Mini Intro

Get comfortable in the water in a group setting. The goal of this class is to introduce new or fearful swimmers to the water. Skills covered include going underwater, breath holding, entering and exiting the pool, and bobbing. Swimmers must be able to go underwater comfortably and independently before enrolling in Mini 1.

Mini 1

This class introduces basic swim skills including floating on front and back, gliding on front and back, rolling over from back to front, and kicking to move forward. Swimmers must be able to perform all skills independently before enrolling in Mini 2

Mini 2

This class builds on the basics to put skills together. Using arms while swimming on front and back, taking a breath while swimming on front, and getting into a back float independently are introduced in this class. Swimmers must be able to swim 10 meters independently before enrolling in Mini 3.

Mini 3

After becoming a safer swimmer, develop strokes and build endurance in this class. Practice stroke technique, swimming longer distances, and treading water.

School Age Small Group

Ages: 6-12
